OPEN CALL FOR ZARYA ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM / 2023
The Zarya Center for Contemporary Art together with the Golubitskoe Art Foundation are pleased to announce the open call for applications to the year-round Zarya Artist Residency programme. Submissions run from 10 November 2022 to 8 January 2023. The winners will be announced on 15 January, with the residency starting in February 2023.
Zarya Artist Residency looks forward to applications from artists, curators, writers, historians, archaeologists, musicians, interdisciplinary researchers, and other humanities and social sciences specialists. When shortlisting applications, we prioritise projects and research that draw from the local context.
The new season will launch with the residencies of the artists from Primorye that have been selected by the curatorial teams of Zarya CCA and the Golubitskoe Art Foundation: Mikhail Chuvakin and Milana Pestereva – in November 2022; Viktor Khizhniak and Elizaveta Kozlovskaya – in December 2022; Yulia Utyugova and Sasha Bukharina – in January 2023.
