ARTISTS-2018 / ELENA REDAELLI

We are happy to start the new season at ZARYA AiR, and today we greet Elena Redaelli (1981), Italian artist who lives and works in Norway. Her practice is based on textile sculpture and installation created through a deep relationship with place (environmental art) and society (participatory, socially engaged projects).

She graduated from Academy of fine Arts in Rome, Italy (2005). Among her recent solo shows, there are WEAVING A BETTER FUTURE, WAB and Red Gate Gallery, Beijing, China (2017); VESTIGE, Upper Ray Gallery, Treasure Hill, Taipei, Taiwan (2017), FADEN WERK, Kunstverein in Bad Godesberg, Bonn, Germany (2016). She also took part in group projects such as Guandu International Nature Art festival, aipei, Taiwan (2016), International forest Art path, Darmstadt, Germany (2016), RES-ART TRAME D'AUTORE, Imbiancheria del Vajro, Torino, Italy (2016), Biennale Giovani Monza, Villa Reale Monza, Italy (2013).
