We are proud to introduce Hong Jinhwon (b. 1980), a photographer from South Korea who stays at ZARYA AiR in July-August. He is interested in the point where the social scenes created by humans are disagreed with each other. Besides the photography, Hong works as an exhibition organizator. He used to be one of the cofounders of the self-organized art space Space Nowhere (Seoul, 2014-2017). Currently he takes part in organization of an alternative photography art fair The Scrap (Seoul, since 2015) and publishes articles on the theory of photography. The project for ZARYA AiR is his second project in Russia. The previous one was realized during the Baikal Nomadic Residency Program in Irkutsk (2014-2015). "Zarya" is the second of his projects, which were embodied in Russia. The previous one was realized during the Baikal Nomadic Residency Program in Irkutsk (2014-2015).
