We are glad to introduce to you our new resident - Elien Ronse (b.1987, lives and works in Belgium). She focuses in on seemingly insignificant details of private life in her art works. She observes and captures daily commodities in their surroundings with her camera. Elien works in different genres such as installations, games, sound- and videoart.

Ronse holds a Master degree in Painting (LUCA school of arts, Gent, Belgium) and is currently enrolled in Dutch Art Institute (roaming academy, ArtEZ university, The Netherlands). She participated in several art residences and exhibitions, such as Kristof Declercq Gallery(Ghent, Belgium), Das Weisse Haus (Vienna, Austria), Homecomings (Berlin, Germany), Pier 2 (Taiwan), Metamatic:taf (Athens, Greece), Barimart (South-Korea), Duncairn Centre (Belfast, Northern-Ireland), and Space Idiot (Turin, Italy).
