Our resident Anastasia Tsayder (b. 1983, Saint-Petersburg) is an artist who investigates cultural and social issues in Russian society through the medium of documentary photography.

She is a finalist of Kandinsky’s Art Prize in Young Artist nomination and winner of Silver Camera photo contest. Anastasia took part in a numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including Russian Interiors (Moscow Museum of Modern Art), Moscovia.Research (Museum of Applied Arts, Moscow), festival Rencontres d’Arles (Франция).

Moreover, she curated an exhibition New Landscape at Yeltsin Center (Russia, Yekaterinburg, 2018).

In Vladivostok, Anastasia continues her project Arcadia, a research on an urban landscape. She says: «with the shift from socialistic to capitalist economics, urban flora has become to grasp spaces. Plants are not only an illustrative result of social changes but also witnesses of these processes».
