The new resident of ZARYA AiR is Ekaterina Yushkevich (b. 1987), an artist from St. Petersburg. She has been interested in art of Russian regions for several years. Therefore, she considers participation in ZARYA AiR program as an opportunity to find herself at the opposite end of the country and look at the familiar things from a new angle. In current research, she focuses on one of Vladivostok's lighthouses, its history and present.
Ekaterina's works were exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, the Metenkov House in Yekaterinburg, the Peace Square Museum Center in Krasnoyarsk, as well as at festivals in Krasnodar, Kazan, Minsk, Riga, Potsdam, and many others.
