The next resident of ZARYA AiR Alina Desyatnichenko has already arrived to Vladivostok! Alina (b. 1991) is a documentary photographer based in Krasnodar, Russia. She graduated from the school of modern photohograpy “DocDocDoc” and self-proclaimed Krasnodar Institute of Contemporary Art by the ZIP art group. At the moment is completing studies at the journalism department of KubSU.

For several years Alina works with photography and video. In her projects, she explores a category of the ideal, considering this theme in different social contexts.

She took part in group exhibitions in Krasnodar, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg and Tver region. In 2017 within the art-in-residence program of the Metenkov's House museum opened a solo exhibition “The Door in the Wall” in Yekaterinburg. Alina collaborated with such media as The Calvert Journal, Afisha Daily, Bird In Flight, Takie dela, MediaZona, etc.

In her Vladivostok artistic research, Alina plans to focus on Ussuri cossack forces and life of aboriginal nations of Russian Far East.
